Drafts stay on your device

While you write in the editor, your script is stored only in your browser (local storage). It is not uploaded anywhere until you choose to publish a link.

Published scripts

When you publish, the script text is stored so it can be opened from its link. Public links can be read by anyone who has them. Private links can be opened only by people you invite by email and who sign in with that email.

Accounts & invites

Creating an account uses a passwordless email magic link. If you invite someone to a private script, we store the email address you enter solely to control who can open that script. We don't use these addresses for marketing.

Buying Pro on this website

Payments for orders placed on teleprompterpremium.app are processed by Sold through Link, LLC (“Link”), a Stripe affiliate, as merchant of record. You enter your payment details in Stripe's checkout and they never reach us. Link processes your payment and order details under its own privacy policy, sends your receipts and invoices, and refunds follow Link's refund policy. Buying Pro means asking for immediate access, which ends the 14-day right of withdrawal once access starts (see the Terms).

When you open the checkout, we store the plan you chose and the answers you gave in the setup before it (including the first name you typed). To measure our ads we store with them your IP address, your browser's user agent, the ad-click identifiers and campaign tags of the link you arrived by (such as gclid, fbclid and utm_ parameters), Meta's browser identifiers and the addresses of the pages you came through. This happens even if you don't go on to pay. When you pay, we add your email address and the plan's status.

We use this to turn Pro on, to send you the activation email and sign-in codes (delivered by Postmark, our email provider), to let you manage your plan and to measure our ads. You use Pro through the apps by signing in with that email. We don't send you marketing email.

Google Analytics runs on this website. On the setup, checkout and order confirmation pages the Meta Pixel and Google's ad tags run too, so Meta and Google learn which of those pages you viewed and whether you started a checkout, whether or not you buy. When you buy, we also report the purchase to Meta and Google to measure our ads: Meta receives your email and country in hashed form, your IP address and browser identifiers. We share your email with Meta only in that hashed form and only for this.

Deleting your data

Disable a link any time from your dashboard, or contact us to remove a published script or your account.
