How it works
These aren't really fonts. They're special Unicode characters that look like styled letters, for example the Mathematical Bold alphabet. Because they're characters rather than formatting, they survive copy and paste into almost any app.
Use them sparingly
Screen readers can read styled Unicode letter by letter, and search can't always match it. Style a word or a heading for emphasis, and keep the important keywords in plain text.

- Yes, completely free with no sign up. Everything runs in your browser and nothing you type is uploaded.
- Why do some characters show as boxes on Threads?
- Older phones and some fonts don't include every Unicode symbol, so an unsupported character shows as an empty box. Bold, italic and sans styles have the widest support.
- Do fancy fonts hurt reach?
- Search and accessibility tools read styled characters differently from normal letters, so keep keywords and hashtags in plain text and use styles for emphasis only.
